Former Common nameInv Delta C::GFP(N105)
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell line
Background strainFVB/N
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Drs. Yukio Saijho and Hiroshi Hamada, Institute for Molecular and Cellular Biology, Osaka University at 2000. The transgene was injected into the pronuclei of FVB/N fertilized eggs.
Strain descriptionThis transgenic strain expresses the mouse Invs cDNA and GFP fusion gene under the control of the EF1alpha gene promoter. Inv::GFP type (line B27): the coding region of the mouse Invs cDNA was linked to EGFP (RBRC01859), Inv deltaC::GFP (line N105): deleted the 3’ part of the coding region of the Inv cDNA at the NheI site (RBRC01860). These strains are useful for elucidation of the function of Invs gene.
Colony maintenanceCarrier x Noncarrier [or Crossing to FVB/NJcl]
