Strain development Developed by Dr. Tohru Kataoka, Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine in 2007. The exon 21 of Rapgef6 gene was flanked by loxP sites (Rapgef6<tm1Tkat>) and removed by cre-mediated recombination following a cross to Tg(ACTB-cre)13Miya mice.  
Strain description B6;129P2(Cg)-Rapgef6<tm1.1Tkat>. RA-GEF-2 (Rapgef6) gene knock-out mice. Homozygous mutant mice show an enlarged spleen, increased IgE and IgG levels and altered cytokine production.
