Strain description |
Cre-driver transgenic mice. A transgenic construct containing sequence encoding Cre/Esr1 recombinase under the control of the mouse whey acidic protein promoter fragment (mammary gland cell specific promoter region) derived from the BAC library was microinjected into C57BL/6NCrlCrlj fertilized eggs. Tissue-specific expression of Cre recombinase has not been examined yet. Users are encouraged to test the tissue-specificity and feed back the data for the research community. |
|
Colony maintenance |
Carrier x Noncarrier [C57BL/6NCrlCrlj]. Hemizygous Tg mice are viable and fertile (viability and fertility of homozygotes are unknown). |
