Strain development | Developed by Katsuko Tani, School of Life Sciences, Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences in 2008. Targeted construct was electroporated into E14 ES cells. Exons 8 and 9 of Ddhd2 gene were removed by crossing with CAG-Cre (B6) mice. C57BL/6 and 129 mixed background. |
Strain description | Ddhd2, DDHD domain containing 2 (KIAA0725p) gene knockout mice. Exons 8 and 9 including a lipase-specific consensus sequence were deleted. Homozygous mutant mice show no obvious abnormality. |
Colony maintenance | Heterozygote x Wild-type [C57BL/6JJcl] |
