Species | Mus musculus |
Strain name | B6;B6CB-Sec23ip<tm1Katn> |
Former Common name | B6-Sec23ip floxed |
H-2 Haplotype | |
ES Cell line | TT2 [(C57BL/6NCrlj x CBA/JNCrlj)F1] |
Background strain | |
Appearance | |
Strain development | Developed by Katsuko Tani, School of Life Sciences, Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences in 2008. Targeted construct was electroporated into TT2 ES cells. The mutant mice were crossed with C57BL/6 over 5 times. |
Strain description | Sec23ip, Sec23 interacting protein (p125) floxed mice. A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 1 and a PGK-neo cassette and loxP site were inserted downstream of exon 1. Homozygous mutant mice show no obvious abnormality. Conditional Sec23ip deficient mice can be generated by crossing with tissue-specific Cre mice. Sec23ip knockout mice (RBRC05444 B6;B6CB-Sec23ip<tm1.1Katn>). |
Colony maintenance | Heterozygote x Wild-type [C57BL/6JJcl] |
