Strain development |
The targeted alle was developed by Dr. A. Wynshow-Boris, NHI. The mutant mice were introduced into NRS in 1997, and then generated the Atm KO mice of C57BL/6 background by backcrossing to C57BL/6JNrs for 16 times. |

Strain description |
Atm, ataxia telangiectasia mutated homolog (human) gene knockout mice. Homozygous mutant mice disrupted Atm gene exhibit growth retardatuin, neurologic dysfunction, infertility, defects in T lymphocyte maturation. |
