ES Cell lineR1 [(129X1/SvJ x 129S1/Sv)F1-Kitl<+>]
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Yujiro Higashi, Institute for Molecular and Cellular Biology, Osaka University. R1 ES cells were used. The mutant mice were crossed to C57BL/6.
Strain descriptionZeb1 gene knockout mice (deltaEF1 null lacZ). Exon 1 was replaced with a lacZ-neo cassette including termination signals. Homozygous mutant mice die shortly after birth.
