Strain description | Prep1 (Pknox1) knockout mice. Prep1 gene is a member of the TALE class of homeodomain proteins and essential in embryonic development. Homozygous mutant mice are embryonic lethal (E9.5). This strain is useful for elucidation of the function of Prep1 gene during embryonic development. |
Colony maintenance | Backcross to C57BL/6 (Heterozygote x C57BL/6CrSlc) |
