Strain development | Developed by Shigeyoshi Itohara, Brain Science Institute, RIKEN. E14 ES cells derived from 129P2/OlaHsd were used to generate the mutant mice. The mice were crossed to C57BL/6J (C57BL/6 semicongenic). |
Strain description | PGK-neo cassette flanked by loxP sites and GAP-lacZ were inserted into the Gt(ROSA)26Sor locus. The GAP-lacZ expression can be generated by crossing with tissue-specific Cre mice. The expression is localized along axonal projections. |
