TypeTargeted MutationCartagena
SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameB6-Pold1<tm1.uchi>
Former Common namePold1<tm1Uchi>
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell line
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Arikuni Uchimura and Takeshi Yagi, Graduate School of Frontier Biosciences, Osaka University in 2007. C57BL/6J derived ES cells were used to generate the knockout mice. The mutant mice were crossed to C57BL/6J.
Strain descriptionPold1 (polymerase (DNA directed), delta 1, catalytic subunit) gene knockout mice. A loxP flanked polyA-neo cassette was inserted in intron 10. The exon 10 contains a D400A substitution. Homozygous mutant mice are embryonic lethal.
Colony maintenanceHeterozygote x Wild-type [C57BL/6J(Crlj)]
