SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameB6.Cg-Kcp<tm1Ysas>/Rbrc
Former Common nameKcp(tau-lacZ) (Acc.No.CDB0401K)
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineTT2 [(C57BL/6NCrlj x CBA/JNCrlj)F1]
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Dr. Yoshiki Sasai, Center for Developmental Biology, RIKEN.
Strain descriptionThis transgene contains tau-lacZ with a floxed neo in the first exon of Kcp to replace with lacZ at the first ATG. Kcp is a Kielin-related molecule that contains multiple Chd-type cysteine-rich repeats, a vWD domain and a TIL domain, and physically binds to Bmp proteins. Homozygous mutant mice are viable and fertile, and exhibit no gross structural defects.
Colony maintenanceHeterozygote X Wild-type [C56BL/6] Homozygous mutant mice are viable and fertile.
