Strain development Developed by Yasuhide Ohinata and Mitinori Saitou, RIKEN, Center for Developmental Biology in 2008. Transgene was injected into the pronuclei of B6D2F2 fertilized eggs. The mice were crossed to C57BL/6.  
Strain description The transgenic mice having a Prdm1-mVenus containing a Venus reporter sequence with an Igk leader sequence, platelet derived growth factor transmembrane sequence and bovine growth hormone polyA signal that inserted in-frame after the initial ATG exon 3 of Pdrm1 BAC gene. Tg homozygous mice are viable and fertile.
