Strain development Developed by Hidenori Ichijo, Graduate School, Tokyo Medical and Dental University in 2001. J1 ES cells were used. The mutant mice are backcrossed to C57BL/6J.
Strain description Map3k5 gene knockout mice. The coding region of Exon 1 of Map3k5 gene was replaced with a GFP/PGK-neo cassette (GFP expression was not observed).
Colony maintenance Homozygote x Homozygote [or Crossing to C57BL/6JJcl] Homozygous mutant mice are viable and fertile.
