Strain developmentDeveloped by Dr. Haruhiko Koseki, RIKEN Center for Allergy and Immunology in 2009. M1 ES cells derived from (C57BL/6 x 129) F1 were used. The mutant mice were crossed to C57BL/6J. Neomycin resistant genes were removed.
Strain descriptionH2A.Z1 and Z2 floxed mice. Histone variant H2A.Z (H2afz) gene is required for mammalian development.
