Strain development Developed by Toshio Fumoto and Kyoji Ikeda, National Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology (2009-2013). 129Sv/EvTac derived ES cells were used. Frt flanked neo cassette was removed by crossing with CAG-FLPe (B6). The mutant mice were crossed C57BL/6 OVER 9 times.  
Strain description RANKL (Tnfsf11) gene floxed mice. Exons 3 and 4 were flanked by loxP site.
