Strain development Developed by Satoko Yoshiba and Hiroshi Hamada, Graduate School of Frontier Biosciences, Osaka University in 2010. The NDE-hsp- GCaMP2,lacZ transgene was injected into the pronuclei of B6C3F1 fertilized eggs. C57BL/6, 129 and C3H mixed background.  
Strain description This transgenic mouse expresses GCaMP2 and lacZ genes on both sides of the node under the control of the mouse node-specific enhancer.
