ES Cell line | M1 [(C57BL/6 x 129)F1] |
Background strain | |
Appearance | |
Strain development | Developed by Keigo Nishida, RIKEN Center for Allergy and Immunology. M1 ES cells derived from (C57BL/6 x 129)F1 were used for the generation of knockout mice. A floxed neo cassette was removed by crossing with B6-CAG-cre mice. C57BL/6 and 129 mixed background. |
Strain description | Gab2 mutant gene knock-in mice. A cDNA encoding 89-665 amino acids was inserted into exon 2 of Gab2 gene. The cDNAs encoded wild-type (WT) (RBRC06244), Y603F/Y632F mutant abolishing the SHP2-binding domain (RBRC06245), Y441F/Y465F/Y573F mutant abolishing PI3K-binding domain (RBRC06246) and Y441F/Y465F/Y573F/Y603F/Y632F mutant abolishing the SHP2 and PI3K-binding domains (RBRC06247) mutant, respectively. |
Colony maintenance | Homozygote x Homozygote [or Crossing to C57BL/6JJcl] |
