Strain development Developed by Yuko Muroyama and Tetsuichiro Saito, Graduate School of Medicine, Chiba University in 2013. The transgene was injected into the pronuclei of B6D2F1 fertilized eggs. The mice were crossed to C57BL/6.  
Strain description Nepro-venus transgenic mice having a venus gene under the control of the Nepro 5' genomic region. Tg mice are viable and fertile.
