BRC No.RBRC10279
TypeTargeted MutationCartagena
SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameC57BL/6-Ahcyl1<tm1Kmik>/129
Former Common nameIRBIT flox mice
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineHK3i [C57BL/6N]
Background strainC57BL/6NJcl
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Katsuhiko Mikoshiba, RIKEN Brain Science Institute in 2009. ES cells derived from C57BL/6 were used.
Strain descriptionAhcyl1 (S-adenosylhomocysteine hydrolase-like 1) floxed mice. FRT-flanked Neo gene is placed at intron 1 of the Ahcyl1 gene. A pair of loxP sites flank the FRT-flanked Neo and exon 2 of the Ahcyl1 gene. B6 genetic background derived from ES clone #129.
