Strain developmentDeveloped by Hodaka Fujii, New York University in 2009. A DNA construct was injected to fertilized eggs derived from FVB/N. Mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6 background for at least 6 generations.
Strain descriptionTransgenic mouse line expressing mouse Ccdc86 (coiled-coil domain containing 86, Cyclon) under the control of human CD2 promoter. Both T and B lymphocytes express transgene. Tg mice exhibited elevation of Fas expression in activated T lyphocytes.
