Strain development | eveloped by Yoko Aoki and Shin-ichi Inoue, Tohoku University School of Medicine in 2014. BRUCE-4 ES cells were used. B6.Cg-Braf<tm1Tumg>(RBRC09730) was backcrossed to BALB/c for 10 generations. |
Strain description | Knock-in mutants in which Braf-mutated protein (BrafQ241R) is expressed in a Cre-dependent manner. BALB/c genetic background. Q241R mutation in mouse Braf corresponds to Q257R in human BRAF, the most frequent mutation in the cardio-facio-cutaneous (CFC) syndrome. Strains maintained in B6 and 129 genetic background are available as RBRC09730 and RBRC09907, respectively. Mice constitutively expressing BrafQ241R in the ICR genetic background are available as RBRC09731. |
