Strain development | Deposited by Motoko Ohnishi, Chubu University. Developed by Shinri Tamura, Tohoku University, in collaboration with Jun-ichi Miyazaki, Osaka University. ES cells derived from 129SV were used and then the mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6N over 36 generations. Exon 4 was deleted at ES cells. |
Strain description | Ppm1b (protein phosphatase 1B, magnesium dependent, beta isoform) knockout mice. Exon 4 is deleted. Homozygous mutants are lethal at around embryonic day 3.5. |
